Cognia Accrediation

We are happy to announce that our five-year accreditation term was approved and conferred by the Cognia Global Commission at their January meeting. Accreditation from Cognia is a valuable mark of distinction recognized around the world.  Based on rigorous research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, the meaningful process probed the whole institution—from policies to learning conditions and cultural context—to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of every learner.

After many months of providing the Engagement Review Team and the Cognia Accreditation Office documentation regarding academic excellence, governance, operational vitality, facilities, mission and catholic identity, technology, and the parent, student, and teacher survey results on climate/culture and engagement, our work was completed.  In addition, the Accreditation Review Team conducted interviews with representative groups of parents, students and teachers.

I would like to thank the St. Rose High School Cognia Review Team, our Administrators,  Faculty, Staff, Students and Parents who collaborated on this schoolwide endeavor.  We are very proud of their efforts and commend them for their dedication and commitment to our school.   This accreditation demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students and educators we serve.

With much appreciation,

Timothy O'Halloran, Interim Principal
